Kinda an oldie but a good one.

They are/were a little ahead of my time. I didn't discover them until about ten years ago. They originally played the early DC alternative circuit. "New Wave", early punk rock, artsy stuff, etc. I barely knew that it existed back in 1979/80.  I love their song called "Washingtron" about the dull, boring, DC lifestyle. Wish I could have found a video, but I didn't. This sort of goes with early bands like Razz, The Slickee Boys, The Nurses, Off-keys, Starz, etc.
